Completed plans call for the addition of a 240-bed elderly care / assisted living facility; for the demolition of a elderly care / assisted living facility; for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility; road / highway; water / sewer project; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work involves multiple prime contracts for the construction of a 240-bed skilled nursing facility addition. The scope of work includes significant sitework improvements, utility relocations and adjacent roadway widening. In an attempt to safeguard all persons attending the pre-bid meeting, attendees must abide by the same policies and procedures regarding COVID-19 as Lehigh County employees are expected to follow. The requirements include social distancing, proper face masks, temperature screenings prior to entry (if applicable), and adherence to all posted signage throughout County facilities. The pre-bid conference will be open to all Bidders, sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers and other interested parties. Questions will be entertained during this mandatory visit, but answers will be via an addendum if required. As of December 17, 2021, public information indicates this project is under construction. Additional information is not expected to become available.
