The Scope of Work Includes: Leveling and Drainage Improvements to Smith Dairy Road, Oak Grove Church Road, Lovejoy Road, Thigpen Trail, Burnt Church Road, and Barber Road All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of Lanier County in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for Lanier County. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. The Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, 2021 Edition, any applicable Supplemental Specifications, Special Provisions or other provision contained within this contract will be applicable to this project. All materials, workmanship, testing, etc. shall meet the Georgia Department of Transportation Specifications. All work on the project must be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive informalities, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner has the right to add or to delete from the Contract once it has been awarded. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of the bids.
