Demolition, site work and addition to an educational facility in Red Deer, Alberta. Completed plans call for the addition of a 10,746-square-foot, two-story above grade, eight-room educational facility.

This Modernization and Addition to the Hunting Hills High School will be delivered by Alberta infrastructure on behalf of The Red Deer School Division. Scope of work includes 995 sq m of new area for eight (8) classrooms, circulation, wall space and storage. In addition, the project includes medium modernization to the remaining facility including full roof replacement, window replacement, mechanical upgrades, electrical/ lighting upgrades, and architectural finishes. Site work includes an expansion to the existing parking lot to support the addition which is needed to address immediate utilization needs. The existing school is 14,250 sq m, the additions will increase the area to 15,245 sq m. The project delivery method will be Design-Bid-Build (DBB). The estimated total value of the construction contract is $ 29.5 million.
