The proposed project will consist of the placement of a 2.0 inch thick layer of rubberized asphalt, gap graded (RHMA-G) on Silverado Trail from south of Yountville Cross Rd to Oak Knoll Ave intersection, including pre-paving HMA-Type A roadway repair, conform and floodway grinding and all other related work. The restriping pattern will be to match existing, unless noted per plan. No bid will be considered unless it is made on a blank form furnished by the County Engineer of Napa County and is made in accordance with the provisions of the proposal requirements and conditions set forth under the Standard Specifications of the State California, Department of Transportation, except as modified in the above referred to Special Provisions. A bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall accompany the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a Labor and Material Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price with good and sufficient surety. Each bidder must be licensed as required by law. The Contractor shall possess a Class "A" or "C-12" license at the time of contract award. The Contractor and Sub-Contractor shall be registered with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations (Public Works Contractor (PWC) Registration) at the time of bid opening. Day work is between 4:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Night work is between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Under no circumstances shall any work occur between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. No day work shall occur between August 15, 2021 and April 15, 2022.
