Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Seaford, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The bids may be presented to the Mayor and Council at their regular meeting on August 10, 2021 at 7:00 p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers, 414 High Street. They may be awarded at this time. The Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any and all bids. A bid bond must accompany each bid. The bid bond shall be equal to five percent of the total street improvements bid. The successful bidder must present the City Manager with a performance bond or bonds in an amount equal to the proposed schedule of work agreed to by the contract. The successful bidder shall also secure and maintain, at its own expense, during the contract term, the types and limits of insurance outlined in the contract documents. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled time from the receipt of bids for a period of thirty (30) days. The City of Seaford reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any or all informalities in any bid or bids.
