The City of Canandaigua, Ontario County, New York, invites sealed bids for the WRRF Effluent Disinfection System. The work to be done under this project shall include demolition/removal of existing equipment, piping, utilities, structural components, etc.; supply and installation of a new onsite sodium hypochlorite liquid generation system, water softening system, dechlorination system, and all appurtenances; installation of required piping for the injection of liquid chlorine and liquid sodium bisulfite chemical into the existing contact tank with associated analyzers; FRP grating at contact tank; all required utility connections and sitework; new generator and all electrical work. All bids must be accompanied by a security deposit in the amount of FIVE PERCENT (5%) of the amount of the base bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Contract Documents. Any bidder may withdraw their bid at any time before the time set for the opening of the bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the date of opening, but may withdraw it any time prior to the scheduled closing time for reception of bids.
