The criterion set forth in this section presents the materials and labor required to satisfy the requirements for upgrading and/or replacing ATC communication equipment in the Level I, Low Activity Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) at the Flagler Executive Airport (FIN). This project is bid and will be contracted as a Design/Build Project. The Prime Contractor shall be a Communications Equipment Installer registered and insured to conduct business in the State of Florida. The Prime Contractor shall include a licensed Florida Professional Engineer, with the appropriate experience, as its ATCT Subconsultant. The Prime Contractor is encouraged to verify all existing conditions by making an independent site evaluation during the bid period. Question End Date 8/6/2021 5:00 PM A DBE Goal for this contract is set at nine and two tenths of a percent (9.2%) of the dollar value of the prime contract to small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (DBE).
