The Work to be performed under these Contract Documents consists of the construction of the Plantation Bay WWTF Phase II Improvements Project, inclusive of all equipment, materials and work required for a complete, tested and fully operational system. B. A general description of the work is provided below solely to assist the Contractor in preparing his Bid and does not purport to include all of the equipment, materials and work required for the Contract. The description includes but is not limited to the following: Provide labor, equipment and materials needed to install the electrical, instrumentation, yard piping and site work in support of the recently constructed 0.49 MGD dual train concrete, extended aeration facility (WWTF). The WWTF is located at 1600 Old Dixie Highway, Bunnell, FL 32110. This new plant replaces the existing steel ring treatment unit and is the second phase of the two phase WWTF improvements project. Phase I was completed while the system was owned by Flagler County. Phase II will be completed under a separate contract and is scheduled to be completed by September 2024. This project will incorporate many of the existing systems that were either installed or rehabilitated under the Phase I project or Phase II project. Some of these components include blowers, headworks, filters, electrical panels, generator, controls, etc. Also included in this Phase 3 Project is three additive alternates. The project includes the civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation required to complete the construction of the new extended aeration facility. The project also includes coordination with the precast, post tension concrete structure contractor as needed to test, startup and commission all equipment provided by said contractor.
