Site work and paving for a civil project in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The work shall be commenced within ten (10) consecutive calendar days after the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed by the Owner and shall be substantially completed not later than October 15, 2021 for Phase 1 and September 16, 2022 for Phase 2, and completed and ready for final inspection/acceptance no later than October 14, 2022 subject to adjustments of the contract time as provided in the contract documents. Once any portion of the work begins on Phase 2, the Contractor will have NINETY-EIGHT (98) consecutive calendar days to complete the work. Removal of various surfacing types -Approximately 1,100 CY of Unclassified Excavation -Approximately 3,034 SY of Full Depth Reclamation -Furnish and Install Approximately 1,800 Tons of Base Course -Furnish and Install Approximately 1,150 Tons of Asphalt Concrete Composite -Furnish and Install Approximately 1,330 SY of Geosynthetic Geogrid -Furnish and Install Approximately 1,400 SY of Non-reinforced PCC Pavement -Furnish and Install RCP Storm Sewer Pipe, Storm Sewer Inlets and Flared End Sections -Associated traffic control, removals, erosion control, seeding, pavement markings and other scopes of work not specifically listed but inferred in the project construction plans.
