Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Oshawa, Ontario. Design plans call for the construction of a 100,000-square-foot, two-story above grade clubhouse / community center; library; swimming pool; and fitness / recreation center.
Construction of a new recreation facility at the northeast corner of Thornton Road North and the future Britannia Avenue West extension, north of Conlin Road. The facility is currently proposed at 2 storeys; approx. 100,000 sq ft which may also include an indigenous community centre, library (Oshawa Public Library), a new branch of the Oshawa Senior Community Centre (OSCC) for a 55+ seniors centre, an indoor pool with slide, a gym + fitness and yoga centre and sports fields. TIMELINE: Project planning as well as designs are ongoing. Scope of work continues to be refined by the city and is subject to change. Municipal address has yet to be finalized. There are currently no tender or construction timelines. Further update early 2026. *Current total cost of construction has been estimated as approx. 169 million (149 million for the building / site and 20 million for soft costs)
