The City of Kalamazoo, Michigan is seeking an independent contractor (Contractor) to administer the Cross Connection Program conforming to the scope of work, specifications, and terms and conditions contained within this document. The City of Kalamazoo will be entering into a three (3)-year contract with the successful Consultant(s). The contract period will be August 1, 2021 through July 31, 2024 (Contingent upon date of Notice to Proceed). The City may opt to renew this contract for two (2) additional one-year periods. All renewals shall be upon mutual agreement of both parties. Contract renewals and cost increases are subject to availability of funds. This contract will be awarded to that responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to this solicitation, will be most advantageous to the City, price and other factors considered. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive informalities and minor irregularities in bids received. Other factors include, as an example but not limited to, delivery time, conformance to specifications, incidental costs such as demurrage and deposits, etc.
