Site work for a water / sewer project in Schwenksville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Schwenksville Borough Authority is soliciting sealed bids via the PennBid program for Contract 21-1 Schwenksville Borough Authority 2nd Ave and 3rd Ave Water Main Replacement. All work is located in Lower Frederick Township, Montgomery County as provided for in the bid documents. The work includes installation of approximately 1,566 linear foot water main replacement and provide water service connections to approximately twenty (20) properties to the right of way. Work will also include abandoning the existing water mains, two wet tap connections, and one section of directional drilling. It is noted that all materials for the water main replacement and service installations have already been purchased by the Authority. The Contract duration will 60 days beginning from Notice to Proceed through Substantial Completion. The materials ordered by the Authority will be delivered to the Authority on or before August 1, 2021. The Notice to Proceed will be issued on or before August 1, 2021 so the contractor can start immediately following the Notice to Proceed. Contractor shall be completed installation and restoration by September 30, 2021. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 7/15/2021 2:00 PM
