The New Bedford Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide EXTERIOR PAINTING at the Shawmut Village and Satellite Village public housing developments (NBHA-21-117) in New Bedford Massachusetts in accordance with the contract documents. The successful bidder, upon notification to proceed with the work, will be required to complete this project within fifty (50) calendar days. The Authority will reject any and all bids when required to do so by the above referenced General Laws. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days upon opening of bids without the consent of the Authority. The Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in any or all bids, or to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, if it be in the public interest to do so. General bids will be rejected unless a Bid Deposit is included that is not less than five percent (5%) of the value of the total bid amount and made payable to the New Bedford Housing Authority. The Contractor must complete all work in 50 calendar days after notice to proceed
