As of February 9, 2022, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has yet to be confirmed. The owner is requiring a confidentiality agreement to be signed to obtain the documents for this project, for that reason you will have to contact the owner directly for the documents and further information on this project. Hampden County Correctional Center HVAC Code Deficiency Repairs, Ludlow, MA. This project will correct ventilation-related issues within the three inmate Housing Towers and five Support Buildings on campus. The facility will remain occupied and fully operational, and work will be completed in phases. At the Housing Towers, new rooftop support HVAC mechanical equipment and associated ductwork, electrical, and controls will be added. Removal and replacement of existing inmate cell HVAC supply and return diffusers/dampers and cleaning of existing HVAC air distribution and equipment, followed by complete testing, balancing, and commissioning. The Support Buildings will receive cleaning of existing HVAC air distribution systems and equipment. The Category of Work is General Building Construction. Every General Bidder must be certified by DCAMM for no less than the bid price, plus all add alternates, if applicable. *This project has been awarded and all trades have been let.
