For Hemlock Park Utility Improvement Items of work include approximately 1,400 feet of 24 to 30-inch sanitary sewer replacement, 630 feet of 8-inch watermain, 650 feet of street reconstruction, drainage improvements, HMA paving, concrete sidewalk replacement, restoration, and all related work. Bidding Documents are available to be emailed in portable document format (PDF) at no charge. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Big Rapids reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Big Rapids. A pre-Bid conference will not be held. The Work will be substantially completed on or before November 12, 2021 and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before June 3, 2022.
