Generally speaking, the work includes materials and labor for surveying, site preparation and construction of ADA access to athletic fields in three areas of the South Valleys Regional Sports Complex per plans. The contractor shall make repairs to the irrigation system if damaged due to construction. Site A - Single Ball Field Area - new ADA compliant concrete ramp from the lower parking lot and a new apron to the bleachers area per plans. Site B - Four Ball Fields Area - new ADA compliant concrete ramp to access the ball fields from the upper parking lot per plans. Site C - Lower Athletic Fields - new ADA compliant parking area with access to the grass athletic fields per plans. Bid Bond : Required Approximate Award Date: Tuesday, September 14, 2021 Approximate Construction Start Date: Monday, November 1, 2021 Approximate Construction Duration: 6 Weeks The deadline for submittal of RFIs will be: Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 1:00 PM No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to the Washoe County Treasurer, as provided for in the General Provisions. A Labor & Material Payment Bond and a Performance and Completion Bond, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract sum, shall be provided by the successful contractor in accordance with the forms provided in this package.
