I-65 Utility Extensions Division D - 0.15 MG Elevated Storage Tank The project is located northeast of the Interchange of Interstate I- 65 and State Road 10 behind Travel America Truck Stop. Work to be performed shall include the installation of an 150,000 gallon steel pedosphere elevated municipal potable water storage tank. Included is all work necessary including earthwork, foundation, steel tank, coating system, testing, piping, cathodic protection, submersible mixer, Scada improvements, overflow and safety equipment. Also included are onsite improvements including 10-inch water main, meter and vault, chlorination system and building, chain link fencing, aggregate drive, site electrical and other appurtenant work. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on bid proposal form provided, accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the Owner in the amount of not less than five percent (5) of the bid. Each bid shall include Indiana State Form 96 and all other required forms as described in the bidding documents. Bidder shall be certified to do work in the State of Indiana. Additional Bidding requirements are in the Instructions to bidders included in the Project Documents. The bidder awarded the contract will be required to furnish a separate Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price before commencing work. The Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall remain in effect throughout the entire construction period. In addition a Warranty Bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent will be required for a period of three (3) years prior to final acceptance by the Owner. The project will be financed through the Indiana Finance Authority through the State Revolving Fund. Contractors are required to adhere to Davis Bacon Wage Rates throughout construction. No Pre-Bid Meeting will be held for this project. NORWEJ reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bidding, to accept a full or partial award of the Bid or Bids which, in its judgement, will be in the best interest of NORWEJ. No bid or bid security may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least sixty (60) days.
