This project consists of approximately 5,230 linear feet of 12-inch water line along CR 266 from Centerpoint Road to El Camino Way Drive. The project includes fire hydrants, gate valves and air release valves. Additional work includes piping reconfiguration near the El Camino Booster Station. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each proposal. The successful respondent will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible Surety Company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas. Proposals will be received for a single Contract. Proposals shall be provided on a unit price basis as indicated on the Bid Form. The project will be awarded to the highest scoring respondent based on set evaluation criteria (included in the Bidding Documents). A Respondent's failure to respond to the requested qualifications inquiry may result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive. Proposals may be held by CCSUD for a period not to exceed 60 days from the due date of the proposals for the purpose of reviewing the proposals and researching respondent's qualifications prior to the contract award. Interested respondents shall meet at the CCSUD office as described in the Instruction to Bidders. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted in writing by email. Written questions and comments shall be submitted no less than six (6) days prior to bid opening. The Work will be substantially completed within 120 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 134 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run
