Renovation of an educational facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Wayne High School Renovation Bid Item #1 - Fire Protection. Hagerman, Inc. ("Constructor") on behalf of Fort Wayne Community Schools ("Owner") will receive sealed Statements of Qualifications from Contractors interested in submitting construction bids. Owner and Constructor assumes no responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Prequalification Documents. All Prospective Bidders who intend to submit a bid must; a) fully complete the Statement of Qualifications, b) provide all supplemental information and attachments, and c) be approved by the Owner and/or Constructor to be placed on the qualified bidders list. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor that has failed to comply with these requirements. All correspondence regarding the prequalification of Prospective Bidders must be in writing and shall be directed to the Constructor's Designated Representative. Hagerman, Inc. has a CMc agreement to deliver the project and will bid the work in multiple bid packages with bid items for individual trade work. The renovation of Wayne High School would include upgrading all mechanical, plumbing, electrical systems, building finishes, exterior envelope, code compliance and ADA accessibility. The Wayne High School building is a two-story brick building originally constructed in 1971 with two additions completed in 1995 and 2011. The total building area is 318,613 SF. The current building is not fire suppressed and the new work requires the installation of a new fire sprinkler system. The project team is conducting early bidding for Fire Suppression for early coordination of MEP pathways. Project Architect is Design Collaborative.
