Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Salisbury, New Brunswick. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 441-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Please note that the Village office is closed to the public to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Doors to the main entrance of the Village office will only be unlocked on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 between the hours of 8:00 am and 11:00 am and 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm in order to permit Bidders to deposit their bids in the locked box located immediately inside the entrance door. This will be the only opportunity for Bidders to submit their bids. There will not be a public bid opening immediately following the Bid Close. The name of the Bidding Firm and the title of the Project shall be clearly marked on the envelope. Bidding procedures shall conform to the requirements of the Crown Construction Contracts Act and Regulation 82-109. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Bid Price, or a Certified Cheque or Bank Draft in the amount of fifteen (15) percent of the Bid Price, payable to the Village of Salisbury. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labour and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of fifty (50) percent of the value of the Contract, or a fifteen (15) percent Certified Cheque upon award of contract. Work under this Contract includes supply of all labour, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the Highland Park Restroom Facility project located in Salisbury, NB. Work generally includes: .1 Demolition of existing restroom/mechanical service building. .2 Construction of new single storey restroom building, including related mechanical, electrical and site work. .3 Supply and installation of new underground water cistern.
