This invitation is for Phase 1 of the comprehensive redesign of the Powell Plaza and conversion of its meditation chapel as specified in the following bid at Eastern Kentucky Universitys Richmond Campus. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for the complete project including all items as indicated throughout the attached specifications. Work will begin immediately following an official Award of Contract and Purchase Order from Eastern Kentucky University. A point of contact for EKU Project Management will be provided to the awarded vendor at time of award. Bid bonds and performance bonds are requiredd. Liquidated Damages: $310.00 for every day after the date for Substantial Completion $150.00 for every day after the date for Final Completion Substantial Date for Completion: 77 calendar days after the start date Final Date for Completion: 91 calendar days after the start date Questions Due By: 4/29/2022 no later than 2:00PM - Submit via the Q an A Board within this electronic solicitation event. Eastern Kentucky University reserves the right to award in part or in whole and to award multiple suppliers/contracts if in the best interest of the university. Project consists of site preparation, tree demolition, earthwork, grading, storm drainage, site lighting, electrical wiring, concrete walls, concrete sidewalks, concrete steps, hand railing, accessible ramps and curb cuts, concrete curbing, pavers, and all associated silt control.
