Public Works Replacement Roof The client has a budget of $2.55M and would like the roof to be installed by November of 2021. Question Deadline: Thu Aug 12, 2021 5:00 PM (CDT) City of Bloomington is seeking to procure a roofing contractor to reroof their Public Works facility. Located at 1700 W. 98 th St., Bloomington, MN 5531. The City would like to reroof sections A1 – A6, approximately 72,215 square feet. Sections A3-A6 of the roof covers office space, A2 is the mechanical room, and A1 covers a vehicle storage area. The building is multilevel. The roof currently has an EPDM Ballasted system that has a slight slope for drainage. The deck of the roof is steel. The client has a budget of $2.55M and would like the roof to be installed by November of 2021. Deadline for completion: November 2021 Proven performing roofing system to minimize leaking, maintenance cost, and longwarranty and system life. Roofing system that will enable the City to install solar panels on section A1 of the roofin the future without harming the warranty or life of the roof. Roof should meet all local, state, and federal requirements. Insulation should be a minimum of R30. Proposers are allowed to submit multiple roof system submittals. Project Budget: $2,550,000. The complete Proposers price to remove the existing roof system (including insulation) and reroof the building will be within the project budget. Proposers are requested to utilize their expertise to identify potential risk and risk mitigation as well as value added options.
