Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ada, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Four-inch asphalt overlay road project for 1.7 miles on Landfill Road (CR 3520 and CR 1520) for Pontotoc County District #2 This work will be performed according to the project specifications provided for this project. The proposal will include a special provision with reference to Contractor's Non-Collusion Affidavit and a 5% bid bond in a certified or cashier's check or surety bond shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Evidence of having proper worker's compensation coverage for employees as provided by Title 85 of the Oklahoma Statutes Section 61 shall be required prior to issuance of a work order. Examination of plans, specifi cations, provisions, and site of work is required. Rates for liquidated damages for this project will be $2,000.00 per calendar day. Bidder questions concerning this proposal will be accepted at that time, and vendors will be given a bid packet at this time as well. Non-attendance by any potential bidder will result in the disqualification of said bidder at bid opening. Upon award of contract to a successful bidder, the Contractor will commence work under this contract within (60) days. The time allowed for completion of all items of work shall be thirty (30) consecutive calendar days. Pontotoc County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Any parties wishing to bid on this project must attend the mandatory pre-id meeting to obtain documents.
