Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Arlington, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 4,500-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and sidewalk / parking lot.
RAZING AND REMOVING BUILDINGS 1. Parcel 4: Two outbuildings. One being a 1,500 SF animal shelter with dirt and concrete floor. The other building is 1,800 SF with concrete floor used for equipment storage. Both buildings are constructed with steel siding and roof and are over 50 years old. Fencing to be removed consists of 500 LF of exterior chain link, 40 LF interior chain link, 40 LF wire mesh, 20 LF wire mesh on wood posts, 40 LF wire mesh with treated wood frame, bow gate and two utility gates.: N1489 STH 22, Arlington, Wisconsin, Columbia County, 6020-00-20. 2. Parcel 8: A 1,200 SF brick, 3-stall garage with 12-foot ceiling, concrete floor, two overhead doors and two service doors. There is an office area located within the garage: W6504 STH 60, Arlington, Wisconsin, Columbia County, 6020-00-20. 3. Parcel 1: A 24'x26' 2-car garage with maintenance free siding, asphalt shingles, electricity, interior lighting, two overhead doors, two service doors, and windows. There is 12,000 SF of asphalt parking lot to be removed. The septic mound system located at the SW corner of the property and the well located at the NW corner of the property will both need to be abandoned: N1497 STH 22, Arlington, Wisconsin, Columbia County, 6020-00-21 Guaranty Required: $2,000.00 No Plans Estimate of principal items: The work under this item consists of razing and removing buildings. With each sealed proposal, the bidder must include a properly executed bid bond or a cashier's check, certified check, bank's check, or postal money order in the amount designated on the proposal made payable to the Department. Certified checks shall be drawn on the account of the bidder submitting the proposal. The bidder may also satisfy the proposal guaranty requirements by having a properly executed annual bid bond on file with the Department. The Department hereby notifies all bidders that for all proposals herein- after described in this advertisement, the Department will affirmatively insure that disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation, and they will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. Each bidder shall file a sworn statement executed by or on behalf of the person, firm, association, or corporation submitting the bid, certifying that such person, firm, association, or corporation has not, either directly or indirectly, entered into any agreement, participated in any collu- sion, or otherwise taken any action, in restraint of free competitive bidding in connection with the submitted bid. If the bidder fails to submit this sworn statement with the bid, the bidding proposal is irregular, and the Department will reject it. The bidder must satisfy the affidavit of non-collusion requirements by signing the cover of the bidding proposal and having it properly nota- rized.
