Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lewes, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Work consists of removal and disposal, erosion and sediment control, approximately 3,850 square yards of 2-inch profile milling, 3,850 square yards of 2-inch bituminous concrete surface course paving, 5 square yards of road patching, 500 lineal feet of rolled curb, furnishing and installing one (1) thermoplastic crosswalk, 60 square feet of concrete sidewalk ADA ramps, and 20 lineal feet of depressed curb and gutter for ADA ramp installation. All quantities are approximate. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Owner for ten (10) percent of the total amount of the bid. The right is reserved, as the interests of City of Lewes, Delaware appear, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid and to extend the time and place for opening the bids from that noted above or not less than five (5) calendar days notice. The Owner reserves the right to choose a combination of items and item quantities, from any, or all parts of the bid proposal form.
