The City of Lewes is seeking interested bidders for a lawn and landscape provider to mow, mulch and maintain the City parks and public lands Bids must be submitted in hard copies as follows: Hard copy bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to The City of Lewes, P.P. Bos 227, Lewes, DE 19958. Each sealed bid envelope must be plainly marked on the outside as "BID FOR LAWN AND LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE," and the envelope should also bear the name and address of the bidder. If forwarded by mail, the sealed bid envelope must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the City Manager, Ann Marie Townshend, The City of Lewes, P.O. Box 227, Lewes, DE 19958. A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held at City Hall Council Chambers, 114 East Third Street, Lewes, DE 19958. The City of Lewes may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any and all bids and accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Complete this form to bid the Lawn and Landscape Maintenance Contract. The Yearly Bid Amount dollar value must represent the comprehensive, all-inclusive cost of service covering all known and unknown expenses, including but not limited to the scope as described in Section II Specifications. Contracts will be awarded for the full three years period. The award will be based on both YEARLY BASED BID price and the contractor's experience and qualifications. The City, at its discretion, may award multiple contractors for Contingent Items or one contractor for the full project.
