This project involves the replacement effluent pumps and discharge piping; construction of a new Motor Control Building; associated sitework; excavation and backfill; as well as the restoration of existing improvements; and all other incidental work necessary to complete the project. Please note there are new procedures for bids, other submittals, and the pre-bid conference. No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by one of the following forms of bidders security: cash, a cashiers check, or a certified check on a bank insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or a bidders bond executed by an approved surety insurer, made payable to the Director of Finance in the manner, form, and amount required by Section 103D-323 ofthe Hawaii Revised Statutes. The proposal guaranty shall be equal to at least five percent (5%) ofthe total amount ofthe bid submitted. Estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.
