Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lawrence, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work to be done under this contract includes: The work includes the total street reconstruction of 11th Street from Indiana Street to the alley between Ohio Street and Tennessee Street and Louisiana Street from 11th Street to 12th Street. This work also includes sidewalk reconstruction on Louisiana Street and 11th Street. The project also includes the replacement of approximately 1,200 linear feet of existing 4" PVC and 12" DI water main by HDD and/or conventional excavation and backfill, including connections to existing mains on 12th Street, Louisiana, 11th Street, and Ohio and a significant number of service reconnections for the apartments on Louisiana. Storm sewer improvements along 11th and Louisiana Streets and sanitary sewer improvements at 11th and Ohio Streets are also a part of this project.
