WORK TITLE: Roadway Improvements to Vanard Drive, Mathis Drive & Waterway Court WORK SITES: Vanard Drive, Mathis Drive & Waterway Court The project generally consists of reconstruction and milling of Vanard Drive, Mathis Drive and Waterway Court within the Township of Brick. Approximate construction quantities in this project include 3,475 SY of HMA milling, 790 TN of HMA 9.5M64 surface course, 760 TN of HMA 19M64 base course, 495 LF of concrete curb, 300 LF of 15" reinforced concrete pipe, reconstruction of drainage structures, and other associated work. PRE-BID MEETING: None Bid Guarantee is required in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount indicated in the Bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). A certificate is required from a surety company stating that it will provide bonds in the form and amounts as stated in the Contract Documents. Bidders are required to comply with all applicable Laws and Regulations including the N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action) P.L. 1999, C.238 (Public Works Contractor Registration), P.L. 1963, C.150 (Prevailing Wages), and P.L. 2004, C.57 P.L. 2009 C.315 (New Jersey Business Registration Requirements). During the performance of this contract the Contractor agrees to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27), all require!ments of the State of New Jersey Worker Health and Safety Act (N.J.A.C. 12:110 et seq.) as amended and the United States Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) (29 CFR 1910), as amended with regard to worker and jobsite safety. The Township reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications. The Township reserves the right to award this contract based on funds available.
