Site work for a water / sewer project in Brick, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed work consists of but is not limited to; The proposed work consists of but is not limited to the installation of 908 linear feet 8" diameter SDR35 PVC sanitary sewer for Osborn Sea-Bay Condominium Association's Ocean Site and 76 linear feet of 8" diameter SDR35 PVC encased in concrete sanitary sewer main for Osborn Sea-Bay Condominium Association's Median Site. The work also includes 810 linear feet of 4" diameter SDR35 PVC house connections, ten (10) 4-foot diameter PVC lined sanitary sewer manholes, 3 connections of new PVC sanitary sewer main to existing pipe/manholes, dewatering of trenches, testing, removal and disposal of existing ACP sanitary sewer pipe, if encountered, and the other associated improvements. The proposed work is located; Osborn Sea-Bay Condominium Median Site is located in the median between State Highway Route 35 North and State Highway Route 35 South, just north of Baytree Court. Osborn Sea-Bay Condominium Ocean Site is located on the east side of State Highway Route 35 North, across from Osborn Sea-Bay Condominium Median Site and north of and adjacent to Osborn Estates. Note: This project is not funded by the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Financing Program (NJEIFP). Each prospective bidder will have to provide the appropriate installation references and certifications to the satisfaction of the Owner. All bids must be enclosed in sealed, specially addressed envelope bearing on the outside the name and address of the bidder and work bid upon. All envelopes should be sent to the attention of the Engineering Department. The Contractor may be furnished supplementary working drawings as necessary to carry out the work included in the contract. Supplementary working drawings will be issued when necessary to show changes or define the work in more detail and they shall also be considered as contract plans. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid or a maximum of $20,000.00; such certification to be without condition or qualification, and the check made payable to The Brick Township Municipal Utilities Authority. Each bid must also be accompanied by a Consent of Surety, properly executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey or permitted individual and shall be attached to the proposal. All bidders shall be required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-6.2, requiring each bidder and each subcontractor to formulate and submit to the proper authorized representative of the State the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development an affirmative action program of equal opportunity which guarantees minorities employment in all employment categories. The bidder is a corporation, a partnership or a limited liability company, the bidder, in conformance with N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2, shall submit with his bid a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all stockholders in the corporation who own 10 percent or more of its stock, of any class, or of all individual partners in the partnership who own a 10 percent or greater interest therein, or of all members in the limited liability company who own a 10 percent or greater interest therein, as the case may be. If one or more such stockholder or partner or member is itself a corporation or partnership or limited liability company, the stockholders holding 10 percent or more of that corporation's stock, or the individual partners owning 10 percent or greater interest in that partnership, or the members owning 10 percent or greater interest in that limited liability company, as the case may be, shall also be listed. The disclosure shall be continued until names and addresses of every noncorporate stockholder, and individual partner, and member, exceeding the 10 percent ownership criteria established in this act, has been listed. To comply with this section, a bidder with any direct or indirect parent entity which is publicly traded may submit the name and address of each publicly traded entity and the name and address of each person that holds a 10 percent or greater beneficial interest in the publicly traded entity as of the last annual filing with the federal Securities and Exchange Commission or the foreign equivalent, and, if there is any person that holds a 10 percent or greater beneficial interest, also shall submit links to the websites containing the last annual filings with the federal Securities and Exchange Commission or the foreign equivalent and the relevant page numbers of the filings that contain the information on each person that holds a 10 percent or greater beneficial interest. The Project shall conform to the Local Public Contract Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq. Brick Utilities reserves the right to waive any minor informalities or non-material exceptions/defects in a bid. Brick Utilities reserves the right to reject any bid containing a material defect(s) and further reserves the right to reject all bids under any circumstances set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 Should you have any questions concerning this contract, please contact the Engineering Department at (732) 458 7000.
