Construction is underway and nearing completion. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The School Board of Palm Beach County, Florida invites qualified Architects, licensed in the State of Florida , to provide Design Services for the development of permitted design documents for FACILITIES RENOVATIONS AND REPAIR AT SANDPIPER SHORES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL & WATERS EDGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. ESTABLISHED GMP CONSTRUCTION BUDGET : $8,555,398 SANDPIPER SHORES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL $3,687,426 WATERS EDGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL $4,867,972 The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall provide all Preconstruction Phase Services necessary to establish a GMP as well as all Construction Phase Services following Award of the GMP for each school identified in this Project Notification. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER may be required to complete portions of the construction on an occupied campus as directed by the OWNER. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall provide deferred maintenance, renovation and repairs to school facilities including, but not limited to, building envelope repairs and replacements, compliance requirements, fire and life safety improvements, HVAC systems, intercom/sound systems, interior repairs/improvements, lighting, parking lot/site improvements, shade structure system replacement, plumbing and restroom replacements, water fountain replacements, kitchen boiler replacement, roof replacement and repairs, structural walkway improvements, and other Work as may be required by the OWNER. Construction shall incorporate all of the requirements set forth in the Permitted Construction Documents, School District of Palm Beach County Master Specifications, District Design Criteria, State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF) 2014, Florida Administrative Code (FAC) Chapter 6A-2 and Florida Building Code. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall prepare all Project Documents in accordance with the requirements stated in Department of Education’s Chapter 6A-2, SREF and FAC.
