Scope of Work Needed 1. Excavate proposed upper parking lot/traffic lanes. Install 6" of graded aggregate base course compacted to a 95% compaction standard. Pave with 2 inches of 12.5 mm bituminous asphalt pavement.
2. Install concrete or asphalt flume to funnel the water from the parking lot to a drainage ditch. Install rip-rap at the end for erosion prevention.
3. Installing a grass area and/or visual separation between the new paved area and the Adjacent public road.
4. Mill Area at the sidewalk to prepare for 1 1/2" of overlay asphalt.
5. Repair/patch existing parking lot for resurfacing.
6. Resurface existing parking lot with 1 1/2" of bituminous asphalt pavement.
7. Install a concrete edge at the transition of the new pavement to the gravel parking lot.
9. Paint traffic lines and parking spot lines. Additional Requirements All damage to school property or vehicles and injury to anyone on school grounds must be reported immediately to Pat Lahr. NO EXCEPTIONS! Damage to LCBOE property (e.g., Sprinkler heads, broken or cracked windows, sports tracks, signage, fences, gates, etc.) will be repaired and paid by LCBOE and then deducted from the successful Bidder's invoice amount. Damage to private property will be repaired and paid by the successful bidder. Such repair will be coordinated between the successful bidder and Pat Lahr. All bidders are being provided the same time and opportunity to request any additional information or clarification concerning this bid in advance of the specified bid due date and time. Therefore, failure to seek such information or clarification prior to the bid closing shall all be deemed to have been fully asked and answered in advance of the bid closing.
