Furnishing and installing of new pump station valves, fittings, and materials at the Swain Road Pump Station and Lake Road Pump Station in the Town of Porter, New York. Project Location 1. Lake Road Pump Station 3233 Lake Road, Youngstown, New York 14174 2. Swain Road Pump Station, 249 Swain Road, Youngstown, New York 14174. General: It is the intent and purpose of these Specifications and accompanying Contract Drawings to describe the Work associated with and included under Swain Road Pump Station Rehabilitation Project. Item 1 Swain Road Pump Station Improvements, Item 2 Lake Road Pump Station Improvements The CONTRACTOR shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to perform mobilization and demobilization. Work under this Item shall include set up of the necessary general plant, including shops, storage areas, sanitary and other facilities as are required by local or state law or regulation. The cost of required insurance, bonds, permits, work schedule and subsequent updates Furnish and install pump station valves, fittings, and pump volutes and base, as indicated on the Contract Figures. This shall include removal and disposal of existing materials and coordination with the Owner for shutdown and isolation required to complete the work. Remove and dispose of existing steel floor. Furnish and install new 1/4" steel floor plates. Paint new floor, wall, ceiling, and all piping/fittings, as specified and indicated on Contract Figures. Remove existing flowmeter on vertical section of discharge header and install new mag-meter. New mag-meter to be supplied by OWNER. Disconnect conduit and wiring to existing flowmeter. Furnish and install new conduit and wiring as required for new mag-meter installation. Startup, pump alignment, and testing of pump station to ensure proper functioning of new equipment.
