Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Buckland, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Town of Buckland will accept sealed bids for the Bridge Preservation Project at Apple Valley Road over Upper Branch Clesson Brook. Only those bidders prequalified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation are eligible to submit a bid. The Town of Buckland is the awarding authority and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in total or in part as they may deem in the best public interest. The work under this Contract shall consist of the following: Performance of scour repairs to stabilize existing abutment substructures Installation of partially grouted riprap throughout the stream channel at the bridge crossing Stabilization of upstream and downstream channels with riprap Micromill and pavement overlay on the bridge Full depth pavement of the roadway on either side of the bridge
