Separate and sealed bids will be received by the West View Water Authority (Authority) at their Distribution Center located at 2428 Rochester Road, Franklin Park Borough, Sewickley, PA 15143, and opened and read at that time for the following: INSTALLATION OF A NEW PUMP AND VFD WITH BYPASS LINE Specifications and plans are available at the MS Consultants Office, 300 Corporate Center Drive, Suite 200, Moon Township, Pennsylvania 15108. No bids may be withdrawn for sixty (days) after same has been submitted to the West View Water Authority. The Board reserves the right to waive informalities in proposals and to reject any or all sealed bids. Contractor shall coordinate the Work, including testing agencies whether hired by Contractor, Owner, or others; Subcontractors, Suppliers, and others with whom coordination is necessary, in accordance with the General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and this Section, to perform the Work within the Contract Times and in accordance with the Contract Documents. Starting, testing, and operating the completed Work including systems and equipment until Substantial Completion is achieved and operation of the completed Work including systems or equipment are accepted by the OWNER. CONTRACTOR shall cooperate and coordinate with the ENGINEER in the operation, maintenance, and adjustment of the Work. This work shall consist of mobilizing personnel, supplies, tools and equipment required for completion of the Contract work. This work shall include general project management including, but not limited to, obtaining laydown area(s), obtaining staging and stockpile area(s), obtaining legal waste disposal sites, securing insurance and bonding, project management, field and office supervision, project administration and management, project photo documentation and videotaping. Preparation and submittal of red-line record drawings, submittals, shop drawings, project scheduling, permitting, coordination with the Owner and Owners Representatives, coordination with subcontractors and material suppliers, utility coordination. Providing sanitary facilities and employee parking, and other management and administrative necessities required for completion of the contract work. This work shall consist of demobilizing personnel, supplies, tools and equipment at the conclusion of Contract work. Work shall include, but not be limited to, site clean-up, repair of damage to existing facilities to remain, and project close-out procedures as specified.
