Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work shall consist of all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the following project: 2022 Road Improvement Project - Work consists of cart way base repair, paving hot mix asphalt wearing course, new asphalt wedge curbs, other related appurtenances, and miscellaneous work on Witherow Road Extension and a portion of Backbone Road totaling approximately 500 feet in length. Bids may be considered and awarded at a meeting held by Bell Acres Borough Council on Monday, May 9, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. Proposals must be submitted on the original forms furnished by the Borough. Each Bidder must submit a bid bond or cashier's check as bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount made payable to Bell Acres Borough. No bids may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date of opening. All Bidders must have PennDOT Prequalification Certificates for the work classifications contemplated by this project. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount, and an 18-month Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount will be required. Pennsylvania Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates Will Apply. Bell Acres Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities, and to alter the scope of work.
