Site work and paving for a road / highway in La Puente, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The general items of work include construction of a 24 wide, 630 long concrete access road through La Puente Community Park from the Public Works Maintenance Yard to Temple Avenue, and related improvements. A 10% Bidders Bond is required with the Bid. The successful contractor will be required to provide: (1) Liability insurance with City of La Puente as additional insured endorsement; (2) Proof of workmans compensation insurance coverage; (3) 100% Faithful Performance Bond; and, (4) 100% Labor and Material Bond For questions, please call: Rey Alfonso, Deputy City Engineer at (626) 855-1540. Contract Time: 40 Working Days The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents. The general items of work include unclassified excavation for removal of existing access road, including finish grading, construction of new PCC rolled curb & gutter, rolled curb only, PCC pavement, aggregate base, PCC drive approach, storm drain catch basin and lateral, and installation of a modular wetlands system, and all other items not mentioned but indicated in the Plans and Specifications.
