Per the owner, as of May 9, 2023, an award has been made for this solicitation. The owner states that a timeline for construction is not known but is likely in mid-2024. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ……………….. The Long Beach Water Department (LBWD) intends to engage the services of a professional engineering consulting firm (Consultant) to provide engineering services for the Rehabilitation of Wells Commission 24 & 25 Project (Project). The purpose of this project is to provide a construction bid package, and construction management & inspection services for the rehabilitation of two drinking water wells in the City of Long Beach. The first well, Commission 24, is located southeast of the intersection of East Carson Street and Clark Avenue, within Heartwell Park. The second well, Commission 25, is located northeast of the intersection of East Wardlow Road and Charlemagne Avenue, within Wardlow Park. The CONSULTANT shall have 300 calendar days from Notice to Proceed to complete the design and permitting. Construction is expected to commence by October 2022 and be significantly completed by October 2023.
