Provide On-Call Professional Engineering Services to support the Port of Long Beach (POLB) Engineering Design Division (EDD) delivery of the Harbor Department's $2 Billion 10-year Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and infrastructure maintenance program. Services shall include engineering services through all phases of project delivery from planning to construction to project closeout. Design disciplines required include, but are not limited to civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, geotechnical, architectural and landscaping architectural, fire protection, corrosion, environmental, traffic and transportation, and utility investigation. Consultant services may be authorized for tasks associated with the above listed services contingent on POLB needs, availability of Port resources, consultant performance, and funding availability. It is the intent of the POLB to create two groups of On-Call Professional Engineering Services contracts based on the type of work and insurance requirements. Group 1 will perform Landside and Waterside Work. Group 2 will perform Landside Work only. Consultants will have the option to select a group based on their interest and ability to obtain the required insurance. Consultants shall complete Attachment K and select a group to be considered and evaluated. Attachment K shall be submit as an appendix to the SOQ. POLB anticipates entering into contract for On-Call Professional Engineering Services with three (3) to seven (7) Prime Consultants from each group, with a total not-to-exceed contract amount ranging from $3M to $5M each, and a contract term of up to three (3) years.
