Mainly, the project will consist of two roadway treatment types. The first treatment, to be applied to only the county side of Monroe Street to 751-feet east of Jackson Street and at the intersection of 52nd Avenue and Van Buren Street, will be to remove existing asphalt concrete and underlying material and place back Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA). The second treatment, to be applied from 1077-feet East of Jackson Street to Van Buren Street, will be to grind asphalt concrete in place and overlay with Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA). Calhoun Street Reconstruction= In general, this project consists of reconstructing approximately 1.2 miles of existing asphalt concrete pavement between 54th Avenue and 790-feet north of 52nd Avenue in the community of Vista Santa Rosa and City of Coachella. Mainly, the project will consist of grinding the existing asphalt concrete in place and overlay with Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA). Reconstruction of asphalt concrete driveway and dike o Reconstruction of concrete driveways o Placement of safety edge and shoulder backing o Minor paved shoulder widening o Utility adjustments o Striping of roadway, including pavement markers and reflectors o Salvage/removal and installation of new signs o Any other work as may be required
