Renovation of a library in Shirley, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
A Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base Bid (for Bid Bond), or 5% of the base Bid maximum of $5,000 (for Bid security provided by check) is required. The Mastics Moriches Shirley Community Library Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all Bids submitted in the best interests ofthe Owner and to waive any informality in any Bid and shall further make awards in any manner it deems advisable in the best interests ofthe Mastics Moriches Shirley Community Library. The successful Bidder shall be required to execute a formal contract with the Mastics Moriches Shirley Community Library. Each Bidder shall agree to hold its Bid price for forty-five (45) days after the formal Bid opening. Base Bid scope of work includes all surveying and layout work for the work of this contract. Three control points have been provided by the Owner's surveyor (McLean). The surveying and layout required for the excavation and compaction for the construction of all curbs is by the entity doing the Site Concrete Work In addition, all survey and layout, minor fine grading and compaction of site concrete items excavated by the 2.100 Contractor and concrete work for all site concrete items are also included in the scope of work of the entity doing the Site Concrete work.
