The Town of Regina Beach invites you to submit a tender for Water Main Replacement. This consists of replacement of nominally 190 lineal metres mainline on the 500 Block of 14th St E. and a branch connection to Brydon Cr. as shown on plans prepared by the KGS Group. Existing water mains are 100 mm diameter Cast Iron and AC which will remain in place. The roadway width is nominally 6.5m and consists for broken asphalt and gravel surfacing. Information may be obtained from the Town Office at 1-306-729-2201 or by email at rbpwud@reginabeach.ca. o Supply and install all materials described on KGS plans for water main, valves, tie-ins to existing mains and tie ins to existing service connections. 8 service connection tie-ins are included in this tender. o Service connection tie-ins are at #506, 507, 508, 509, 510, 511, 512 and 513 14th St E. o Replace one Fire Hydrant, valve, and associated fittings adjacent Lot 34 on Brydon Cr. o Exclude KGS Drawing C02 as 12th St is not part of this tender call. o Reclaim road surface to pre-existing condition with native clay till from base of excavation to withing 300 mm of surface then 300 mm of Type 33 road base surfacing. All excavation within the road allowance to be compacted to 98% Standard Proctor Density. o Tie-ins to existing main line infrastructure must be completed such that customers adjacent the work are not without water for more than 8 hours. This applies to customers on 5th Avenue, 6th Avenue and Brydon Crescent. o Pressure test, flush and sanitize all works.
