Construction Manager at Risk for the Construction of the 1111 Fannin Renovation Project The Harris County Office of the Purchasing Agent is seeking a firm with the experience, capabilities, and qualified available staff to provide Construction Manager-at-Risk (CMAR) services for the project referenced herein. The project will be composed and awarded in compliance with Chapter 2267 of the Texas Government Code "Contracting and Delivery Procedures for Construction Projects," specifically Subchapter F, TEX. GOV'T CODE ANN. 2267.251, et. seq, as amended,"Construction Manager-at-Risk Method" for certain public work projects The proposed project consists of renovations to a 17-story office building with an integral parking garage. The building is located at 1111 Fannin, Houston, TX, 77002. The building was constructed in 1971-1972 and is approximately 450,000 sq. ft. and 245 feet in height. It is a concrete framed structure. The primary scope of renovation work will be MEP replacements and upgrades along with some minor interior renovation work. Supplies and equipment the MBE or WBE subcontractor purchases or leases from the prime contractor or its affiliate does not count towards the 20.00% contract goal.
