Site work and paving for a civil project in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project is a linear construction program where pipe installation work on public and private property will be completed, within County Road Allowances, secured utility ROWs, proposed drainage ROWs, and additional temporary workspace along the route. Where pipe alignments are in public road ROWs, all work will be supported by Traffic Accommodation Strategies acceptable to Rocky View County. The scope of work for the Project generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: - Traffic Accommodation for proposed drainage works; - Supply and Installation of stormwater drainage pipes and manholes using open trench excavation and trench box system; - Supply and Installation of stormwater forcemain/gravity using Horizontal Directional Drilling technique; - Flow Control structures at the drainage intakes from water bodies; - Water and Environmental Management; - Erosion and Sediment Control works; and, - Roadway pavement reinstatement work. The project shall be constructed in accordance with: - The technical requirements of the Tender (not yet released); - The Contract Drawings provided by the Consultant (not yet released); - Rocky View County Servicing Standards 2013: - All applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws, codes, standards, regulations and by-laws.
