Renovation of a medical facility in Worcester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 24,132-square-foot medical facility.
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, University of Massachusetts Medical School will receive sealed proposals: State Project #: CP2234B Title: 6th Floor Clinical Wing Renovation Scope- The project includes the renovation of approximately 24,132 square feet of interior space within the UMass Medical Building. Estimated Cost: $3250000.00 Sub Bid Categories are: HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Painting, Fire Suppression, Acoustical Panel Ceilings Each general bid proposal must be secured by an accompanying deposit of 5% of total bid amount in the form of a bid bond or certified or treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Each proposal must be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly endorsed with the name and address of the bidder, project number, contract number and title. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of either or both Mass. G.L., Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended and Mass. G.L., Chapter 149, Section 44A - 44J inclusive. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all bids if it were in the public interest to do so.
