Renovation of a mixed-use development in Worcester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. School Clinical Wing B-Level HVAC Upgrade, including the removal of existing HV units and duct work and install of new unit as per the plan and specifications. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate **Sub Bid Deadline 4/7/22 Time 3:00 P.M. Sub Bid Category Mechanical, Electrical The removal of existing HV-4 and HV-5 units, and a significant portion of existing ductwork on A and B-Level of the Clinical Wing, and the installation of a new H&V unit to serve the mechanical rooms. B-Level occupancy spaces shall be served with existing AC-29 supply air. New Work includes patching of existing walls, relocation of sprinkler heads, new ductwork, new coring for hot water piping to terminal boxes, new electrical feeds and controls. Project will require work outside of normal working hours because adjacent spaces will be occupied during construction. All construction personnel will be required to follow UMass Chan Medical School's health and safety policies, including covid-19 vaccination. All persons entering UMass Chan Medical School facilities must be vaccinated prior to entry.
