Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Newark, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The project consists generally of placing approximately 1,050,000 square feet of type II polymer modified asphalt emulsion slurry seal on various streets, applying herbicide, crack sealing, street sweeping, removing and installing traffic markers, thermoplastic striping and legends, and other related items of work necessary to complete improvements. Slurry seal work on this project shall not start earlier than Monday, October 4, 2021. It is the City's intent to award the contract for this work by Thursday, September 9, 2021. The Contractor shall possess a Class A, C-12, or C-32 license and register with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) at the time bids are opened.
