Paulding County is seeking qualified, experienced, and licensed contractors with demonstrated skills and experience in providing landfill cover installation services for the Ivey Gulledge Road Municipal Landfill at 75 County Services Ln, Dallas, GA 30132. The scope of work for this project is to furnish all labor and equipment necessary for installation of an impermeable cover on Phase 1 of the landfill. Tasks will include site preparation, grubbing, grading, borrow soil excavation, topsoil mixing, installation and maintenance of erosion control measures, installation of a Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL), placement of fill, drainage layers, and soil covers, and additional tasks to install the landfill cover and restore the site. All questions should be submitted in writing via e-mail to Mill Creek Environmental, LLC to the following e-mail address dcentofanti@millcreekenvironmental.com. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the owner in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract or, in lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or cash in equal amount. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds with the executed Agreement meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents and executed on the forms attached to the Agreement. The terms and time for payment are set forth in the Agreement. Questions will be received by the owner's representative until close of business on August 18, 2021. Questions, comments, and responses will be tabulated and returned to bidders by August 23, 2021. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities and technicalities, re-advertise, and/or award the contract in the best interest of the County. The awarded contractor will be required to apply and be on Paulding County Finance Department Approved Vendors List. Paulding County reserves the right to cancel the agreement with the successful submitter.
