Construction of 8,755+- linear feet of 6-inch DIP water main and appurtenances. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the Owner in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract or, in lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or cash in equal amount. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds with the executed Agreement meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents and executed on the forms attached to the Agreement. The terms and time for payment are set forth in the Agreement. The time allowed for Substantial Completion is 120 days, and the time allowed for completion and readiness for final payment is 150 days from the date of notice to proceed. Only pre-qualified BIDDERS will be allowed to bid on this project. Any prospective BIDDER, who has not already pre-qualified with Paulding County Water System, will be required to submit the required application package to the OWNER no later than April 19, 2022. The Engineer for the project is Edison Engineering Group. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities and readvertise.
