Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
. 1 Contractor to repair/replace all the 29 spots as shown on the attached the Photo Report. . 2 Perform random testing for any loose bricks to make sure all the non-reported bricks are safe and sound. . 3 Replace any missing bricks using the "Bomix Permafix masonry repointing pointing mortar (S5 or equivalent)" as per attached data sheet as shown on the attached Photo Report. . 4 Fill any gaps at brick joints with the mortar where required as shown on the attached Photo Report. . 5 Fill any holes on bricks and joints by the same existing type/color brick and Bomix mortar. . 6 Repair any cracks on bricks and mortar either by replacing them (larger cracks) or by just filling them by mortar for hair line cracks depending on the crack size. . 7 All site shall be cleaned and garbage to be disposed properly. . 8 All repair to be safely done with especial consideration of elderly people living in the building. . 9 An advance notice posted from building manager to notify all people living in the building. . 10 Existing scaffolding to be removed by others after completion of Work under this Contract. . 11 Repair to be performed in a dry and warm weather. . 12 Contractor shall provide warranty for the repaired items for minimum of 5 years period.
